LFC Lightning

Leesburg Football Club is looking to add a girls NCSL team for the fall 2024 season in the U16/17 age group (girls born in 2008-2009). If you are interested in a team that has fun and focused practices twice a week, competes in local tournaments, and has much lower fees than the local clubs, then you have found your home!

Our team will focus on…

• Enjoying the sport!
• Competing with each other at practice so we can compete for each other in games.
• Developing our technical skills equally with our tactical vision.
• Playing physically and respectfully.
• Training with clearly communicated goals.
• Learning what makes a varsity player.

We will be committed to helping parents develop growth-minded young people through strong and consistent leadership and communication.

The team will be coached and trained by Jesse Sheehan. I am a nationally-licensed coach with over 20 years of high-level club and high school coaching experience. I carefully plan all sessions within my season’s  curriculum. I am also a chemistry teacher and soccer dad who understands the need for flexibility with the demanding schedules of high school kids.
