About the Leesburg Football Club

Our Mission & Vision

The Leesburg Football Club is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our mission is to provide a competitive, affordable, and family-friendly travel soccer program for our kids so they develop skills, build community, and foster a lifelong love of the game.

It’s our vision to grow the club to house a variety of teams, while allowing teams the freedom to manage themselves inline with the philosophies and desires of the players and team families.

Philosophy & Style of Play

The club philosophy is to provide a safe and healthy soccer environment for the youth of Loudoun  that enables opportunities to play at competitive levels. Each team has their own level of effort but in general, our teams are more serious about the sport than recreation-level play but also play not only for the game itself but also for exercise, friendships, and skill-building and seek to balance soccer with everything else going on in life–school, other sports, downtime, siblings’ activities, and family time.

Why Join LFC?

Leesburg FC is the only member-owned travel soccer club in Loudoun County. Players, coaches and their families volunteer their time to make this a community experience that’s very rewarding and memorable for all involved.

For Players/Parents:

• Lower cost to play in the same leagues as other more expensive travel soccer clubs.
• Stay with the same team every season rather than being reassessed and shuffled each each year.
• This is a team decision, but our current teams have benefitted from weekly sessions by professional trainers.

For Coaches:

• Central support from LFC provides resources and guidance.
• Each team is independently managed, so tournaments, kit extras, practices, trainers, between-season training, etc. are decided upon by the team. 
• Keep your players together season to season promotes growth as a team.
